05 Usage guidelines
DO
- Use the mark on a contrasting background — ink on cream, mark-light on dark.
- Give it room — at least the height of the mark as clearspace on all sides.
- Use the SVG whenever possible for crisp scaling.
- Keep the wordmark italic on "Standard" — it's part of the brand.
DON'T
- Recolor the mark or wordmark to colors outside the palette.
- Squish, stretch, rotate, or skew the logo.
- Drop shadows, glows, or 3D effects on the mark.
- Place over busy photography without a dark overlay or scrim.

One-liner (for use in articles)
The Isaac Standard is an independent product review blog and YouTube channel covering budget audio, smart home gear, trackers, mini PCs, and outdoor robots. Reviews are based on first-person hands-on testing, with measured numbers and named trade-offs — no sponsored placements and no AI-generated experiential claims.

07 Editorial standards
We publish our methodology and conflict-of-interest policy on the site. The short version:
- We buy most products outright; review units are accepted only when the brand has no editorial input and the unit's status is disclosed at the top of the review.
- One-week minimum hands-on testing before publishing. Longer for products where longevity matters.
- Affiliate links are disclosed on every page that contains them. Affiliate revenue never determines our recommendations.
- Sponsored content, when it occurs, is labeled at the top of the post and in the first 15 seconds of the video.
- No AI-generated experiential claims. AI may assist with drafting; lived observations come only from us.
- Corrections are flagged at the top of the affected post for the first 30 days.

08 For partners & PR
We're happy to consider products for coverage when they fit one of our five categories. A few ground rules so we don't waste each other's time:
- Sample units are welcome but never guarantee a positive review. If we don't think the product earns the recommendation, we'll say so — no exceptions.
- No pre-publication review. Brands don't see the review before it's live. Ever.
- Embargoed launches — we can honor reasonable embargoes when there's adequate test time before lift.
- Sponsored content is occasionally possible. It's clearly labeled. Honest assessment is non-negotiable; we don't publish sponsored coverage of products we wouldn't otherwise recommend.
- Affiliate-only relationships (no payment, just the affiliate link) are our default and require no advance arrangement.
